She made headlines after garnering the top position in the recent episode of the Chinese reality talent competition Singer 2018, beating her fellow contenders from different parts of the world, which includes her idol, British pop star Jessie J, who was also astonished by her spectacular performance.

But prior to this magnificent feat, KZ Tandingan already captivated us with her powerful vocals, edgy outfits, and ever-changing hairstyle as we watch her appearances.

To celebrate the newest milestone in her outstanding career, let’s take a look back in some of her remarkable performances on ASAP.

The proud Davaoeña songstress proved that even non-biriteras could also dominate after she won in the X-Factor Philippines in 2012. However, it was through the winning Himig Handog 2013 entry “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” that catapulted her to immense popularity.

Sporting a pixie cut, the 25-year-old songstress was definitely too pretty and hot as she treated the audiences on her birthday by giving Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” a different flavor.

She also lent her extraordinary voice to the primetime series La Luna Sangre as her soulful rendition of the 80’s Joey Albert hit “Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin” was chosen to be its official theme song. Behold those golden dreadlocks!

Her poignant version of Air Supply’s “Two Less Lonely People in the World”, which was used in the phenomenal blockbuster film Kita Kita, absolutely struck our hearts making it one of the top songs in Billboard Philippines for 2017.

Following the tragic death of The Cranberries’ lead singer Dolores O’Riordan, Asia’s Soul Supreme paid tribute to the music legend by giving a jazzy yet powerful take to their famous head-banging hit “Zombie”.

Fresh from her successful stint in Singer 2018, KZ came back to her “home” last Sunday (February 11) to let her fellowmen experience her trending performance of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep”. Certainly, it blew our minds anew, especially on the part where she added Tagalog rap verses.

KZ is definitely the country’s new international singing sensation. Best wishes to the Soul Supreme as she continues her journey on Singer 2018, wherein she is truly a formidable contender in being named the grand champion.
