Pilipinas Got Talent: Season 3 Throwback

Pilipinas Got Talent, just like its counterpart talent shows all over the world, highlights breathtaking, sometimes unimaginable performances. Let us take a look at the winning performances of Season 3 contenders in this throwback feature:

12 Finalists:

 

1. Lucky Twins

It wasn’t pure luck for twin brothers Randolf and Rodolf Escalona as their amazing flair in interpretative dance was indeed world-class, allowing them to reach the finals.

2. Kiriko

This quintet from Sta. Cruz, Laguna utilized their skills in rapping and songwriting in expressing how proud they are as Filipinos. Astounded with their talent, the judges gave them a resounding “Yes” to enter the finals.

3. Muriel Lomadilla

Experienced being bullied because of her skin color, the spunky Filipina-Nigerian songstress from Cebu proved that beauty is definitely skin-deep with her soulful and powerful renditions.

4. Loverkada Kids

Climbing up the stage still in their school P.E. uniforms, these pupils from Butuan City wowed the spectators with their unbelievable multitrack gymnastics and dance routine. They even garnered a standing ovation from the judges.

5. Renagine Pepito

She might be small, but this 11-year-old girl from Cagayan de Oro sent us goosebumps when she belted out the classic Whitney Houston hit “I Will Always Love You” during her auditions. After five years, she tried her luck again in TV singing competitions via Tawag ng Tanghalan in August 2017.

6. Twin Divas

These gorgeous sisters hailing from Nueva Ecija sizzled in skimpy outfits as they performed Beyonce and Shakira’s “Beautiful Liar” during their audition.

7. Sandugo Band

With their vigorous and eargasmic performances, this reggae from San Pablo, Laguna captured a lot of hearts since their first appearance up to the final round.

8. Synergy

Their death-defying acrobatic act, consists of lifting and flying stunts continuously earned the nods of the jurors since Day 1.

9. El Gamma Penumbra

This 24-piece all-male group from Tanauan City, Batangas treated with a one-of-a-kind shadow play presentation that was a first for PGT. Their heartfelt performances got them the third place victory in the grand finals.

Two years ago, they didn’t only make their hometown proud, but the whole country as well, after being hailed as the first-ever Asia’s Got Talent grand winner in 2015.

10. Bringas Brothers (Third Place)

Composed by Jefferson and Kurt Bringas, these admirable brothers didn’t only captivate us with their heartwarming story but with their swooning singing voice also. Their love and talent gained the runner-up triumph.

11. Khalil Joseph Ramos (Runner Up)

Before becoming a well-known young actor and singer of his generation, Khalil used to be that 15-year-old crooner from Parañaque City who got us smitten with his great singing talent and good looks. He became a crowd favorite ever since, racking up majority of the public votes.

12. Maasinhon Trio (Winner)

With their harmonious blending and flawless performances, these three singers from Southern Leyte got both the highly coveted “Yes” and P2 million-peso cash prize.
