Kapamilya Spotlight: Sofia Andres April 21,2017 06:40 PM

Starting this Monday, April 24, Sofia Andres returns to television as one of the lead stars in the newest teleserye of the Kapamilya network, “Pusong Ligaw.” Before we get to know Vida, let us look back at the past appearances of Sofia Andres in Kapamilya shows.

Princess and I (2012-2013)

She got her first break in 2012 when she appeared in the primetime teen drama “Princess and I” as Dindi Maghirang. Dindi was the loving adoptive sister of Mikay (Kathryn Bernardo) and the daughter of Dinoy (Dominic Ochoa). The series also starred Daniel Padilla, Khalil Ramos, Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, Gretchen Barretto and Albert Martinez. It was directed by Dado Lumibao, Francis Xavier Pasion and Rory Quintos.

Forevermore (2014-2015)

In 2014, she was cast as Katherine “Kate” Saavedra in the romantic series “Forevermore.” Kate was the ex-girlfriend of Xander (Enrique Gil) who was still not over him, hoping she would be given a second chance. The series also starred Liza Soberano, Diego Loyzaga, Zoren Legaspi, Joey Marquez, Lilet and Irma Adlawan. It was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Richard Arellano, Theodore Boborol and Rory Quintos.

Maalaala Mo Kaya: Pantalan (2016)

Last year, she appeared in an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” entitled Pantalan as Roselle. Roselle was the high school best friend of Jerome (Diego Loyzaga) who eventually fell in love with each other. The episode also starred Ynna Asistio, Michelle Vito, Alex Diaz, Marlo Mortel, Bryan Termulo, Eric Fructuoso and Daisy Reyes. It was directed by Raz de la Torre.

Pusong Ligaw (2017)

This 2017, Sofia gets her first lead role as Vida Del Quinto in the upcoming daytime drama series “Pusong Ligaw.” Vida is the daughter of Marga (Bianca King) who aspires to become a famous fashion designer like Terrie (Beauty Gonzalez). The series also stars Diego Loyzaga, Enzo Pineda, Joem Bascon and Raymond Bagatsing. It is directed by GB Sampedro, Elfren Vibar and Henry King Quitain.
