Cherry Pie Picache could only express words of excitement, elation, and praise for her co-cast members, whom she has all worked with before, in the forthcoming Dreamscape Entertainment drama Victims of Love on ABS-CBN.

She told ABS-CBN.com in an exclusive interview that it would be such a joy working again with Angelica Panganiban, Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino, JC Santos, and fellow renowned actress Lorna Tolentino.

“I’m very excited to be able to work again, to be reunited with Angelica Panganiban and Julia (Montes) and of course Miss Lorna (Tolentino) and the rest of the cast, Paulo (Avelino). Si JC (Santos) of course. They’re so nice to work with. I’m so excited with the cast,” she said.

Cherry Pie recently worked with Angelica in the Nora Aunor-led indie film Whistleblower. She also worked with Julia in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry The Strangers, and with Paulo in the JaDine teleserye On the Wings of Love.

She also had worked with JC in the stage play Buwan at Baril sa Eb Major early this year.

Meanwhile, Cherry Pie and Lorna shared acclaimed acting credits in the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning film masterpiece Magnifico.

Such eager anticipation, Cherry Pie said, would make her job less burdensome.

“Sa ganitong pagkakataon kasi we have this kind of co-actors tapos ganito yung storya. Parang half of your work is done. I’m very excited. Sobrang blessing,” Cherry Pie stressed.

While the pressure of being at par with such a celebrated cast is daunting, she said the experience would be very much fulfilling and enjoyable. It gives you much motivation to work your best on the set.

“If you are working with good actors with this kind of cast, the team—the staff, the writers, the director, the whole team behind it, ang sarap magtrabaho. I’ve worked with them. I’m very happy so you look forward going to the set. This is one show na parang you would look forward going to the set,” she noted.

And what keeps her even more excited, she says, is a compelling story for viewers.

“Ang ganda ganda ng storya namin. Kumpleto rekados. It’s about love, it’s about family, it’s about sacrificing, choosing right and wrong, makaklaro sa yo ang tama at mali. So masaya. There’s so much to look forward to,” she said.
