The cast of the undisputed primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano took time out from their hectic tapings days for the top-rating action drama and marched their way to the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 last Saturday, September 14, for a good cause.
Just like what they did last year, some of them paraded on the red carpet in clusters reminding everyone that they might be archenemies on the program, they are actually a big, happy family when the reels are not reeling.
Attesting that were Nico Antonio, John Prats, PJ Endrinal, Mark Lapid, Marc Solis, Jaime Fabregas, Empoy Marquez, Kean Cipriano, Michael de Mesa who invaded the red carpet together.
There were a few who opted to go solo as well.
Heading the pack was lead actor and director Coco Martin who swooned the onlookers in his Suit Up Manila white Barong Tagalog.
Meanwhile, his gorgeous leading lady Yassi Pressman traded the off-shoulder pieces her character Alyanna usually wore to the mesmerizing apple green terno by Anthony Ramirez. Gracing the red carpet with her were on-screen rivals Angel Aquino and Lorna Tolentino who stunned us with their chic looks. The former was in a white piña long-sleeved blouse and a light blue trousers, while the latter was in a black Filipiniana dress.
Bianca Manalo and Denise Laurel also exuded elegance and ferocity in their ball outfits. Bianca was blooming in her Jo Rubio signature red rose terno, Denise was sultry in her Samantha Richelle off-shoulder high-slit black frock.
He may be despised in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the wicked villain Renato “Buwitre” Hipolito, but John Arcilla was admired for his all-black Gino Goulbourn ensemble.
Lastly, real-life brothers Rowell and Raymart Santiago attended the charity event with their brothers Reily and Randy and nephew Hashtag member Ryle Santiago. They were all wearing white Barong Tagalog from Albert Andrada.
The ABS-CBN Ball 2019 was for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163’s Bantay Edukasyon project that aims to provide quality education to the children currently sheltered at the Children’s Village in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
