Chokoleit is, without a doubt, one of the most popular and funniest comedians in the country. In his television guestings, movie and teleserye portrayals, and live performances, he never failed to make us LOL (or laugh out loud) and sometimes leave us ROTFL (or rolling on the floor laughing) through his rib-tickling jokes, antics, and banters with his fellow comedians or other people.

Now that he has passed on after his performance in Abra’s Kawayan Festival last March 9, it is but fitting to remember Chokoleit the way he would really want it—how he entertained us and made us laugh, specifically with these hilarious memes he posted on his Instagram account.

Majority of his posts were edited images of celebrity photos also uploaded on the photosharing platform, product advertisements, film and TV series posters, and magazine covers, wherein he replaces the face or one of the faces (and sometimes all) of the person/s featured on the pictures with his strikingly alluring face. There are also instances when he included his equally talented and funny buddies Lassie, Negi, Pooh, and Vice Ganda in his online shenanigans.

Hailed by his followers as “Mahal na Reyna”, the actor-comedian’s posts were usually relevant and timely as he made fun out of the current issues, trends, or events, and were amusingly sensual. These included his spoofs on the daring photoshoots of local and Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen of Game of Thrones, Pia Wurtzbach, Arci Muñoz, and Erich Gonzales.

He also got himself featured on the covers of the some of the country’s leading fashion magazines, with his most remarkable editing replacing Janella Salvador’s face on the anniversary issue of Metro Magazine last year that also featured Julia Barretto, Liza Soberano, and Kathryn Bernardo on the cover.

Chokoleit then later on turned himself as a global pop superstar and the newest member of Spice Girls by editing Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, out of the 90’s all-female group’s photo and replacing it with his cropped photo dressed in a fab checkered frock. This was his way of jestingly volunteering himself to replace Victoria’s position as she bailed out from their highly-anticipated reunion tour.

Before 2018 ended, he marked Catriona Gray’s win in the Miss Universe competition last year by switching faces with the beauty queen in one of her photos wearing her iconic lava gown as a way of celebrating her triumph and greeting his followers a “Happy New Year!

And a week prior his death, the late comedian-actor was able to post his last-ever meme – a promotional campaign of America’s Next Top Model Season 19: College Edition in 2012 featuring half-naked host Tyra Banks and model-athlete Rob Evans – that once again garnered thousands of likes and varied reactions from his followers.

Now that we will never see a new hilarious post on his IG ever again, may we never forget all the laughter and entertainment that he brought us on and off-the-screen, just like what Piolo Pascual reminded us during ASAP Natin ‘To’s heartfelt tribute to the one-and-only Chokoleit last Sunday, March 10.

We will miss you, Chokoleit. May you rest in peace.
