From the very beginning, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin and It’s Showtime and Gandang Gabi Vice host Vice Ganda have always been very vocal about how deep their friendship is.

As we can recall from Coco’s guesting in 2014 on GGV, the Unkabogable Star and the Primetime King shared how their friendship started. Back then when Vice, whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral) still works in comedy bars and Coco still works as a waiter in a well-known restaurant, Tutoy (Vice’s nickname) and Dengdeng (Coco’s nickname; his real name is Rodel Nacianceno) first met during a party. Vice once performed at a restaurant where Coco worked.

As narrated in that GGV episode, Vice spotted Coco when he was looking for some men to bring on stage. Vice tried to persuade Coco but in spite of all the efforts Vice did, Coco still refused. So the two ended up hating each other, and didn’t meet each other again until Coco’s cousins told him that Vice was their friend.  All their hate eventually faded when they got to know each other better and became close friends.

Also in that same episode, Vice teasingly questioned Coco why it was only then that he agreed to guest in GGV. Coco then gave an authentic answer saying he was afraid that he might be caught off guard on cam with Vice because he knew a lot of things about him.

Since then, Coco guested several times on GGV, and starred with Vice in a number of films, including “Condo” in 2008 and Noy in 2010, and the blockbusters “Beauty and the Bestie” in 2015 and “The Super Parental Guardians” in 2016.

As stated by Tutoy and Dengdeng, the two of them are more than friends; they are siblings. How sweet, right? See how solid their friendship is in these photos!
