Emotions ran high in the recent intense and explosive events that slowly unfolded in Halik. The four main characters – Lino (Jericho Rosales), Jacky (Yen Santos), Jade (Yam Concepcion) and Ace (Sam Milby) – were dragged into surprising twists and turns that pushed them into a deeper pit of emotional turmoil.

Lino is losing his sanity amidst the legal battle he is facing against his estranged wife and in his fight over Baby CJ’s custody. From tearing up while reminiscing on his and Jade’s blissful phase of marriage, Lino turns into a frustrated man begging Jade to just spill the truth in order to stop the public humiliation they are all going through in the court.

Embarrassed upon being tagged as a mistress and drowning in wrath, Jade loses control and starts screaming out her rage at the top of her lungs; pushing the cops to drag her out of the courtroom.

Jacky becomes a complete emotional wreck as she discovers that Mauro (Romnick Sarmenta), the foster father she loved unconditionally, is the culprit behind her beloved parents’ deaths. Pain due to Mauro’s betrayal moves Jacky into an endless cascade of tears and bitterness.

Meanwhile, Ace’s heart remains filled with the desire for vengeance while he catches himself falling truly in love with his paramour.

A wide spectrum of emotions is required from the quartet while mounting realism to the extremely intense scenes. Yet, when the cameras stop rolling, Halik’s four torchbearers keep the ambiance simply light and fun. In this gallery, Jericho, Yen, Yam, and Sam are seen taking a break from all the drama and showing off their real cheerful sides.

The group looks picture-perfect in the first few photos conveying a peaceful and relaxing mood. Of course, a set group shots wouldn’t be complete without the wacky facial expressions which the actors gamely served to the cameras. They played along well with the lenses as they display their comic sides and trademark poses – Yen’s huge grins, Yam’s ‘baliw-baliwan’ acts, Jericho’s ‘kenkoy’ face, and Sam’s killer smile.

Yet, do not be fooled by their behind-the-scenes gleefulness as they are surely about to bring another set of surprising explosions in the next episodes of the phenomenal teleserye they topbill.
