Stars of the gripping drama Halik shared their traditions in celebrating Christmas each year.

Amy Austria said that she gives cash gifts to the young ones in their family so they may experience the fun of shopping for themselves. JC Alcantara also told us that their family always exchange gifts and spend Noche Buena together during Christmas Eve. The two leading ladies Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion, shared that they likewise see to it that they spend Christmas Eve with their families.

Hero Angeles revealed that he always whips up something for his family’s Noche Buena feast, and that they follow the tradition to wait until midnight before they exchange gifts.

Meanwhile, Jericho Rosales, who tied the knot with blogger-influencer Kim Jones in 2014, said they also follow Filipino traditions during Christmas, but he said they haven’t set traditions they would call their own since that they have only spent four years together as a married couple.

Christian Bables, on the other hand, revealed that Christmas celebrations in the family aren’t always guided by traditions. But what makes it special every year is that they spend it together.

Chai Fonacier also has a family tradition of spending Noche Buena together in Cebu. But she has not spent the holidays with the family for two years now since moving to Manila. Chai, however, would rekindle those times with the family by spending the holidays with friends following the same tradition.

Gab Lagman on the other hand, revealed that for the last 9 years, he always celebrated Christmas with his family in Las Vegas.

Sam Milby, for his part, also celebrates the holidays in the US with his family, opening gifts when clock strikes midnight and spends Christmas Day eating lunch together and go sledding afterwards.

Indeed, for these Halik stars, they may follow Filipino Christmas traditions or not, but what matters most to them is celebrating Christmas the best way they can as a family.
