In its four months on television, Halik has ultimately become the most controversial and highly-anticipated teleseryes on the primetime block. Every night, the creators behind it, together with the cast, never fail to deliver exceedingly exciting (and sometimes agitating) episodes that would surely create a hullaballoo among the viewers and the netizens online.

Almost all of us are absolutely infuriated with the arrogance and unfaithfulness of Jade (Yam Concepcion) and Ace (Sam Milby) towards their ever-loyal spouses, Lino (Jericho Rosales) and Jacky (Yen Santos). Yet, they are now getting what they deserve as their illicit affair have been on the rocks and Lino and Jacky are gradually rekindling the beautiful friendship they used to have in their younger years.

But, let’s momentarily take a breather from the thorny narrative of the four main characters and look at the flourishing special connection between Lino’s business partner and best buddy Barry (Christian Bables) and one of Jacky’s trustworthy gay bestie Ken (Hero Angeles), which just began recently, as chronicled in the montage above.

It all started in their drinking and sing-along session with their best friends, the Dos Disenyos employees, and their couple client at the hotel they’re working at. All of them were totally drunk, with Barry and Ken waking up beside each other on the latter’s bed. They were both in shock as they try to figure out how that happened, augmenting Barry’s concern if something steamy took place between them.

After that incident, everything seemed to go well between them as Barry even handed Ken a cup of coffee and invited him to help in organizing a surprise birthday party for Lino, which the latter delightfully accepted.
During the party, Ken wasn’t able to help himself anymore as he astonishingly confessed his admiration for Barry, which he started by commenting how much his polo shirt looked fine on him then proceeded in telling him, “I like you”.

Since he finally set himself free from the romantic feelings he’s been hiding from Barry, Ken left the occasion smiling from ear-to-ear and reminding him to keep in touch via text messaging.

This is only the first time Christian and Hero worked together, thus we’re totally stoke with how they are able to build their unexpected on-screen chemistry!

Is there a possibility for romance to bloom between Barry and Ken? Let’s find out by not missing an episode of Halik, weeknights after Ngayon at Kailanman on Primetime Bida.
