Ria Atayde describes Jericho in 5 words

Isabelle Francez Raymundo December 07, 2018 01:13 AM

As a fan, regardless of your age, you can’t deny that Jericho Rosales will always be the industry’s hottest leading men. As an actor, many would not hesitate to grab the opportunity of being able to work with him. So, you can imagine how lucky Ria Atayde feels for having the chance to work with him twice, this year alone.

“Jericho is a star,” she described him. The actress feels that it is truly an honor to work with him in more than one project because he is more than just another actor. “Not everybody can say they spent everyday with Echo for about two months because they were working on a movie and a teleserye,” she stated proudly.

Passionate and adaptable are only some of the words she could use to describe how easy it to get along with him. Not to mention “bagets” because of how young he is inside and out.

You can catch her in the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “The Girl in the Orange Dress” which Jericho stars alongside Jessy Mendiola. On the other hand, as Baste on Halik, she is about to embark on a journey to right her wrongs.

“Kailangan kong bumawi kay Lino (Rosales) at saka kay Barry (Christian Bables),” Ria shared. Viewers can expect her character to plot against Mauro Montefalco (Romnick Sarmento) and she promises it would be nothing short of exciting. “Maraming information na dumarating sa akin,” she teased.

Currently, Lino is finding himself under fire from viewers because of his decision to at least help Jade (Yam Concepcion) after everything she did. So, we decided to ask Ria what she would do if she were in Jade’s position. “Kasi sobrang life changing decision,” she hesitated. One thing she does know, “I don’t need no man.” At the same time, however, she feels that a child should not be deprived of having two parents. “Walang kasalanan ‘yung bata,” she stated.
