Singer-songwriter, Moira proves to be the sound of this generation as her songs continue to pierce through our hearts and put a smile on our faces. In fact, she was Spotify Philippines’ Most Streamed Female Artist and Most Streamed Local Artist of 2018.
She also achieved a feat no OPM artist has ever done before, when her winning Himig Handog 2017 song interpretation, “Titibo-tibo” ranked first in the Philippines Top 50 charts, beating foreign entries in Spotify. It was streamed 214,877 times within 24 hours.
Moira started as a voice artist working on corporate jingles and theme songs of brands and fast food chains. Now, dubbed as the “Hugot Queen” or “Queen of Emotions”, her breakthrough song “Malaya” - one of the official soundtracks of the movie “Camp Sawi” instantly became the go-to song of all the brokenhearted. Since then, she has sung official soundtracks of various films and TV shows such as “Torete” from the blockbuster film “Love You To The Stars and Back” and “You Are My Sunshine” from the movie “Meet Me in St. Gallen”.
Last year, Moira proved to have the makings of an Idol when she staged her first solo concert “Tagpuan”, which sold out in just four days after tickets were released - thus, due to public demand, a repeat for the following night opened. In the same year, she also performed with the American Band, Boyce Avenue. Her latest collaboration with December Avenue for the song “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” now has 116 million views on YouTube.
