It’s Showtime brings its biggest anniversary celebration to date called “Sampu Sample,” a year-long festival of surprises that marks the program’s ten years of making Filipinos happy and invites all madlang people to not just have fun but also help in taking care of the environment and in making a difference.

Team Vice Ganda gave a heartwarming hair story on self-love performance for Magpasikat 2019 Saturday, October 26.

The team's piece centered around accepting imperfections and lifting each other up.

The performance started with Vice singing "Creep" while looking at other girls' long hairs. Seeing them made him feel like he does not belong in that place. While he was self-loathing and judging himself, Dawn Zulueta came to the rescue and comforted him. Following that scene was a "Whip my Hair" song and dance number by the Unkabogable Star while changing wigs and costumes.

A video presentation containing memes and tweets hating him and his wigs was shown then he came singing "Survivor" while other people were trying to hold on and pull his hair.

"This is for you, all them haters," he said.

His characters from the movies he did then appeared to symbolize his journey and how his wigs were part of it.

After that, he entered the stage together with the Miss Q & A beauties and sang "Hair" while everyone, including the audience and the Hurados, put on their blonde wigs.

He then went closer to the audience using a harness while singing and tumbling on air.

A kid wearing a hoodie then started singing "What am I doing here? I don't belong here." She revealed her head then continued to sing emotionally "'Cause I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo. What am I doing here? I don't belong here."

The comedy superstar's harness went down and answered: "You belong here. You are part of this world. You are beautiful. You don't need to be loved by the whole world. You just need yourself and one person that you love to accept, appreciate and love you back. Your Ate Vice is here and for as long as I live, you will have an Ate."]

After which, he sang "You've had enough. You're not a freak. You don't need to fight to stay cool on the street. You are enough and this is my prayer. You're as free as your hair."

The child then sang again: "I've had enough. I'm not a freak. I don't need to fight to stay cool on the street. I've has enough enough enough and this is my prayer. I swear I'm as free as my hair."

The Unkabogable Star then sang "I'm as free as my hair" while removing his wig, revealing his own hair.

According to MTRCB Chairperson Hurado Rachel Arenas, Vice has outdone himself and he used his experiences to give voice to those who need it most. "It's unkabogable and phenomenal," she said. The head of Public Affairs and Information Office of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Hurado Rene Napeñas also said that the team leader used his imperfections to become the perfect inspiration for the Filipinos worldwide. Eventologist and 'It guy' Tim Yap then said their performance was "blessed" and the team brought its audience to Vice's life journey - from being himself for his own to being a blessing to other people.
