Before KathNiel became a thing, he was the first loveteam partner of Kathryn Bernardo as they got paired in the remake of the classic 90’s soap opera Mara Clara, taking on the role of Christian Torralba, which was originally by Wowie de Guzman.

Well, who could forget that amusing and titillating moment when he and James Reid, who was then playing Clark, had a mini muscle showdown during their breakfast together with Leah.

In 2016, he once again showcased his rebellious side in his stint in the top-rating cop series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as Richmond Subito, the unico hijo of the corrupt Congressman Randolf Subito (John Regala) and the cunning Clarissa (Maria Isabel Lopez).

The 25-year-old actor stunned as anew with his unmistakable prowess as an antagonist in the afternoon soap opera Pusong Ligaw, playing Leon del Mundo, the young man who Teri (Beauty Gonzalez) thought was his long-lost son Rafael and the suspect behind the murder of Rafa (Enzo Pineda).
