Throughout his more than a decade in the local entertainment scene, Enrique Gil has already portrayed various roles, ranging from heartwarming lead to an infuriating kontrabida. Thus, he’s able to cement his status in the business as one of the bankable leading men of his generation and has become a household name.

From playing bit roles and doing special participations in his early television appearances, he finally nabbed his first-ever lead role via the 2011 teen-oriented weekly musical drama anthology Good Vibes playing Troy Cabrera, the half-brother-slash-rival of Sam Concepcion’s character Marc.

That same year, he starred in the remake of the 90’s classic melodrama series Mula sa Puso as Michael, which was originally by Diether Ocampo. It was succeeded by his stint in Budoy as Benjamin “BJ” Maniego, the anti-hero to the titular character impeccably depicted by Gerald Anderson.

In 2012, he was cast as one of the charming princes of Kathryn Bernardo in Princess and I named Dasho Jao Rinpoche. He then got paired with Julia Montes in the 2013 romantic drama Muling Buksan Ang Puso and with Julia Barretto in the 2014 primetime series Mirabella.

Quen’s phenomenal team-up with reel-to-real partner Liza Soberano was eventually born in 2014 when they worked together in the top-rating series Forevermore, wherein he played the affluent and arrogant hotel heir Alexandre Grande III who fell in love to the beautiful young peasant Agnes (Liza).

As their loveteam became a big hit, LizQuen was given another teleserye project in 2016 through Dolce Amore. The 27-year-old actor took on the role of Tenten a hardworking speech-impaired young man who terribly got smitten with her Filipina-Italian penpal Serena.

Far from his dashing dude and nice guy image in his previous portrayals, a different Enrique was seen in 2018 fantaserye Bagani as he portrayed Lakas, a mighty warrior, who despite being treated as an outcast among the legion of Taga-Disyerto for being the offspring of the couple tagged as “traitor”, still valiantly defended their clan and the whole Sansinukob against the wicked and monstrous enemies that tried to wipe them out.

And now, he and Liza are back to spreading kilig vibes to our primetime viewing as they mark their return via the highly anticipated romance drama Make It With You, in which he’ll capture a lot of hearts anew as Gabo, a man who’s in pursuit of finding his purpose and direction in life again through his journey in Croatia, where he’s also going to meet Liza’s Belinda along the way.

Are the choices he’s going to make, including love, lead him to the life that he’s ever wanted? Let’s all find out by not missing an episode of Make It With You starting January 13 on Primetime Bida.
