We’re all definitely thrilled and misty-eyed at the same time on the July 3 episode of Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit as the late Ella Dimaano, played by seasoned actress Kaye Abad and who passed away just on the first few days of the daytime series in March 2019, made a comeback that truly surprised us.
The scene she shared with her beau Michael (RK Bagatsing) was indeed a heartwarming and remarkable moment avid viewers will surely never forget. Although Ella tried to make their encounter light, it still got sentimental as he expressed his fear of losing her again and she uttered her apologies for her failure to tell Michael about their offspring Mikmik (Sophia Reola) when she was still alive.
As Michael conveyed the resentment he feels for emerging in their child’s life, Ella consoled him by saying that he shouldn’t be because she only hid Mikmik from their families and not from him and that she would not have the guts to pass on if she’s uncertain that he would find her.
Apart from that, Michael related as well his anxiety of not being a good parent as her, to which she reminded him, “Maraming beses na masasaktan si Mikmik, and’yan man tayo sa tabi niya o wala. Gano’n talaga ang buhay. Ang magagawa lang natin, ihanda siya, turuan, punuin ang pagmamahal ang buhay niya para matuto rin siyang magmahal.”
He wasn’t able to contain the overwhelming emotions that whimsical meeting had brought, thus tears began to roll down his cheeks as he kept on tightly holding her hands. In return, Ella gave him a kiss on the forehead as a sign of her eternal love for him.
