The much-anticipated star-studded ball is finally happening. Once again, it’s not only pure glitz and glamour, but the main reasons behind the putting up of such huge showbiz event were the the Bantay Edukasyon program under the Bantay Bata 163 and the legacy of its founder, the late Gina Lopez. Most importantly, the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 aims to celebrate ABS-CBN’s  65th anniversary - 65 years of being in the service of the Filipino people.

And this year's theme, “Modern Filipiniana,” is definitely a representation of our roots as Filipinos. It is like a fusion of modernism and traditional Filipiniana. Of course, the brightest stars in the industry get to flaunt their elegance through their gorgeous and exquisite modern renditions of the Filipiniana outfits.

The stars of the newest Kapamilya family drama series, Pamilya Ko, are present to grace us their elegant outfits and looks.

First off, Kira Balinger, who fulfills the role of Lemon Jane R. Mabunga in the series, was so simple yet elegant as she walked the red carpet with her modern Dilipiniana, a Mark Bumgarner gown. Maris Racal, who plays the role of Peachy Ann Mabunga, dazzled with her revealing orange outfit. Jairus Aquino, who takes on the role of Percival “Persi” Mabunga, neatly brandished his classic barong.

Joey Marquez also hit the red carpet with his all-black look for the night, with a modern black barong for his top. Marquez plays the character of Fernando Potenciano "Fernan" Mabunga, the husband of Luzviminda "Luz" R. Mabunga, who is portrayed by Sylvia Sanchez.

Sylvia and her husband Art Atayde looked so glamorous in their outfits as she pulled off her white long sleeve top with a floral detailing, and as Art showed us off his modern white barong top.

Last but not the least, JM de Guzman who plays the role of Francisco "Chico" R. Mabunga, the eldest among the Magbunga brothers, graced us with his clean look for the night as he presented himself as the modern Crisostomo Ibarra.
