Almost three months after their stint was over, the adult housemates and Star Dreamers of Pinoy Big Brother Otso Batch 2 had the chance to interact with their “evergreen” supporters in the flesh during their fan conference tagged “#Batch2getherForever” held last June 22.

The jam-packed venue was indeed permeated in color green as majority of the attendees flocked in their green shirts similar to what their idols were wearing on that evening, and, at the same time, waved green balloons and their fan club banners as they cheered for their beloved Batch 2.

Hosted by PBB alumni Pamu Pamorada (Unlimited) and Fifth Solomon (All-In), who also host the reality show’s online segment Bring 8 On, the event commenced with the zestful production number of the Batch 2 ex-housemates and Star Dreamers dancing to Toni Gonzaga’s “This Love Is Like” that truly amused the audiences.

A slew of song numbers ensued in the next portions of the program. Shawntel Cruz, with the special participation of her loveteam Hanie Jarrar, made everyone swaying as she performed her composition “You’re Making Me Kilig”. Everyone erupted into boisterous cheers when real-life sweethearts Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette performed their duet of Marlo Mortel’s “Sana Ikaw Na Nga”, which used to be played everytime their kilig moments while still inside the house were shown on television. Last, and definitely not the least, were best friends Yamyam Gucong and Fumiya Sankai who thrilled in their live performance of “Ikaw Ang Pinipili ng Puso Ko”, a song they collaboratively penned.

Of course, every fan con wouldn’t be complete without the artists interacting with their fans which was made possible through the games prepared by the organizers, namely, “Al2Gether”, “Blind D8”, “Who Said 8”, and “Shoot 8”. Everybody also greeted one of the fans who was celebrating her birthday on that day by singing the “Happy Birthday” song.

Just when the Big 4, or fondly called as Team LAYF (Lou, Andre, Yamyam, Fumiya), thought that it was only them who had a gift for their strong throngs of supporters, they were surprised to find out that their respective fan clubs also created a special present for each of them. It was a montage of some of the highlights and unforgettable moments of their whole PBB journey.

Batch 2 housemates and Star Dreamers also willingly and sincerely responded to the questions of the fans from the audiences and those sent in via Twitter in a special portion.

The event concluded with the Batch 2 housemates and Star Dreamers dancing the official PBB Otso theme song and the Big 4 expressing their appreciation and gratitude to those who joined them in the fun celebration.
