Emotions indeed flowed during the media conference held recently for the highly anticipated finale of the ABS-CBN daytime series Playhouse.

Present in the event were the lead stars Isabelle Daza, Maxene Magalona, and JJ Quilantang who strutted down the red carpet all by themselves and on-screen love teams Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo and Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan who came in the event together.

They were not able to hold back their tears as they watched, the montage of the memorable and significant moments they shared on the program that was flashed on the huge screen situated in the venue and when they were asked how do they feel now that Playhouse is already on its last two weeks.

Each of them expressed how much they will miss everyone from their co-actors to the production staff and how sad they are since the conclusion of the series means parting of their paths and not being able to see one another as regularly as they used to while filming. Besides, they also didn’t forget to utter their gratitude for the love, warm welcome, and support they obtained from the family they found while doing this heartwarming project.

Furthermore, they imparted the unforgettable experiences they had while doing Playhouse and how they truly appreciate and praise their scriptwriters and the rest of the GMO (Ginny Monteagudo-Ocampo) Entertainment Unit who worked really hard to come up with an inspiring and entertaining story and a sure-fire ending. Each of them also related the life lessons they learned from their respective characters or from the series as a whole.

The media con wrapped up with the main cast’s group picture-taking and their photo op with the staff, wherein we witnessed how tightly bonded and happy they are with one another.

Don’t miss out on the remaining episodes of Playhouse, weekdays before It’s Showtime.
