Everyone thought she was stone cold and taciturn, typical for a career woman who doesn’t have time to do anything else enjoyable and exciting in life, besides being in the office and working all day. Fortunately, Lisa Laureano’s (Jodi Sta. Maria) story turned out to be exhilarating. So before we bid goodbye to Lisa as Sana Dalawa Ang Puso draws to a close, let’s look back at how her story thrilled us all.

The Workaholic Career Woman

At first, Lisa appeared to be the strict, workaholic lady boss. In the first episodes of the show, we saw how Lisa is so hands-on in managing her business. We saw her in a company laboratory looking over their cosmetic products with her assistant Kim (Nikki Valdez). She’s very meticulous, overseeing corporate matters with much diligence, checking even the smallest detail in running her company.

A Loving Daughter

As we gotten to know Lisa more, we have seen that she is indeed a loving daughter to Juancho Laureano (Christopher De Leon). This is why she always worked hard to impress and please her dad, even if it means sacrificing her own happiness to the point of even marrying a man she doesn’t love.

The Damsel in Distress

Yes, it’s an admirable and truly a noble thing how much she’s willing to sacrifice for her dad Juancho. But Lisa also needed to learn how to value and love herself the right way; and that is by letting herself have the chance to be happy. Luckily, her knight in shining armor Leo (Robin Padilla) came into her life just when she needed saving. She inspired us all when she chose to fight for the love of her life. And while doing that, she still maintained her respect and love for her dad. Lisa didn’t say or do anything rude and impolite to her dad despite his objection to her relationship with Leo.

A Loving Wife

Being a married woman, Lisa became a loving wife who would do anything to express her love for Leo. We all know that married life isn’t that easy, and Lisa has experienced difficulties living in Leo’s house where his all his younger siblings also live. Lisa struggled at first especially with Tinay (Miles Ocampo), who got jealous with the time and attention her kuya Leo gives to Lisa. She went through sister-in-law issues which every other wife can surely relate with. But in spite of everything she experienced with Tinay, Lisa still stayed and mended their issues in a calm and loving way.

Certainly, Lisa’s story has grown into an exciting and inspiring tale by fighting to achieve the happiness and love she deserves.
