Each weeknight on Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa, we see Agot Isidro as the fearless journalist who helps Fina (Jodi Sta. Maria) in finding her long-lost daughter. In real life, Agot seems to be just as strong and courageous as her character in the said series. She is brave enough to speak up about her views and opinions, and is bold enough to express her feelings to the people she loves. Just like how she is towards Florin "Pilo" Ternal Hilbay.

According to an ABS-CBN News article, Agot shared that she was first impressed with Hilbay’s wit during their first meeting. When she saw how smart and passionate Hilbay is regarding government issues, and how funny he can be at the same time, Agot had since enjoyed spending time with him.

During a political rally in Naga City, Hilbay vocally said that he wishes to “go on a date with Agot Isidro” on February 14. His wish immediately came true when Agot arrived at Hilbay’s campaign launch in his hometown that is Tondo, Manila.

Given the fact that Hilbay was a candidate in the 2019 senatorial elections, Agot frequently expressed her full support for the former solicitor general. Days before the election, Agot posted a sweet message on her Instagram account with a photo of them giggling together. Her caption says:

“For the most part, it’s like this. Other times, we are eating. I wish people would know more of you, not just your credentials, your achievements or how smart you are. But for who you are as a person. Steady always comes to mind. Even-tempered. Reasonable. Rational. Perfect for someone as crazy as me. Perfect for these crazy times. Whatever happens, you tried your bestest, like you always do. Your campaign had no money but you have a vision of a less imperfect world with all your good intentions. Best of luck, lablab @pilo_hilbay. Ang laban mo ay laban ko.”

Hilbay, who is even more expressive with his posts on their bonding moments together, acknowledged Agot’s support. He proudly posted a screenshot that shows Agot’s profile picture with the frame of his ballot number, and said on his caption: “’Pag ang laban mo ay laban din ni lablab @agotisidro ‘di ba ang saya?”

Aren’t they a perfect match? See some of their sweetest photos in this gallery!
