Bela and Jodi bid farewell to Juris and Fina

Isabelle Francez Raymundo August 10,2019 10:39 PM

Even to the very end, Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa never failed to surprise its viewers. So, as happy as we are to finally reach the much deserved conclusion, there is still a part of us that will surely miss Juris (Bela Padilla), Drei (Tony Labrusca), Fina (Jodi Sta. Maria) and the rest of the characters. Yet, we must bid our farewells, just like Juris and Fina. The two posted heartfelt messages on Instagram that sum up all their feelings after working on this series.

REVIEW: Sino Ang Maysala Finale is Bela Padilla’s shining moment as an actress

This was an incredible journey! Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat sa pagtangkilik at pagsubaybay gabi-gabi,” Jodi wrote along with a picture of Fina and baby Leyna. She began by thanking the fans, co-stars, directors, production team and every single member of their crew.

The Kapamilya actress then added that she learned a great lesson thanks to this show, “you cannot right a wrong by committing another wrong.” We must all take responsibility for our actions as well as learn to ask for forgiveness. Only then can we begin to heal, grow and truly learn from our mistakes, “the darkest times can bring us to the brightest places, and our most painful struggles can grant us necessary growth.” Jodi ended with, “strictly no goodbyes, only see you later.”

Huling gabi na ng #SinoAngMaySala. Will definitely miss all my co-stars, directors, production teams, and the rest of the crew. This was an incredible journey! Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat sa pagtangkilik at pagsubaybay gabi-gabi. My biggest learning from this serye is that two wrongs never make a right. You cannot right a wrong by committing another wrong. In the end, we must take full responsibility of our actions and ask for forgiveness from God and anyone you may have hurt by your bad decisions. Life doesn’t end there because no matter how difficult things seem, there is always hope for us. With prayers and God’s plan backing us up, the darkest times can bring us to the brightest places, and our most painful struggles can grant us necessary growth. Strictly no goodbyes, only see you later. Fina, now signing off... ❤️

On the other hand, Bela shared that Juris has been her most emotionally and physically tiring, so far. So, the accompanying video of her going crazy only seems fitting. Since taking on this project she realized that good people are capable of making wrong decisions. Out of desperation, one can take extreme actions.

After everything, Bela hopes that her character can serve as a warning to the viewers. “Please reach out to your loved ones having a hard time, no matter how strong or smart they are, pain is pain,” she wrote. Her last advice is, “be just, be fair, and always act out of love.”

Thank you. Juris is the most emotionally and physically tiring woman I’ve had the honour to portray. Living in her head since October has been such a learning experience for me. I’ve learned that good people can make wrong decisions and will really go to extremes to justify what is right for them. But that doesn’t always mean that what’s right for one person is right and fair for everyone. And ultimately, there will never be a perfect crime. May Juris’ run serve a purpose and a warning to our viewers. Please reach out to your loved ones having a hard time, no matter how strong or smart they are, pain is pain. Life will throw you in situations that you won’t expect, may we all be just, be fair, and always act out of love. Salamat po mga Kapamilya. Juris, signing off. ❤️

What started off with a group of friends trying to bury a crime turned into a battle between two mothers whose only goal was to be able to love one child. What are the lessons that you learned from Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa
