Talent knows no age and the contestants of Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids has definitely showed us that. One of the most impressive performers in the singing competition is Jhon Clyd Talili from Surigao del Sur. Even at the very young age of 10, he has continuously showed the judges his unbelievable vocal power and control. Let’s take a look at Jhon Clyd’s journey to the finals.

Jhon Clyd Talili impressed the judges and the crowd when he sang his heartfelt rendition of “Hesus” by Aegis. Aside from his amazing voice, his innocence and charm throughout his performance made him standout from the other contestants.

Garnering an average score of 97.4%, Jhon Clyd defeated the contestants of Metro Manila, Luzon, and Visayas. This young talent from Mindanao was hailed as the first daily winner and the very first defending champion of the singing competition as well.

For his first time as the defending champion, he belted out his version of Fantasia Barrino’s “I Believe.” His rendition full of emotions garnered nods from the judges, and he successfully retained his spot.

The two-time defending champion sang “Lipad Ng Pangarap,” popularized by Dessa, on the “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” stage. He was able to retain his crown after giving another sincere performance that wowed both the judges and the audience members.

On his third day to defend his title, Jhon Clyd chose to perform “I Surrender” by Celine Dion. He continued to impress the judges with his vocal power and his moving performance sent the daily winner home.

The four-time defending champion showed off his vocal range when he sang Regine Velasquez’s “Narito Ako.” Delivering another masterful performance that’s surprising for his young age, he achieved another win.

After winning five consecutive times, Jhon Clyd Talili of Mindanao became the first semi-finalist of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” and he advanced to the next level of the competition.

Will Jhon Clyd’s charm and talent be enough to win him the title and become the first “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” champion? Don’t miss the Grand Finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids on It’s Showtime, this Saturday, June 10.
