In her 17 years in the local entertainment industry, Angel Locsin has already proven herself as a formidable and top-caliber actress. In the slew of top-rating teleseryes and blockbuster hit movies she starred in her almost two-decade career, we were able to see her different facets through the roles she impeccably portrayed. May it be drama, romance, horror, comedy, or action, she could definitely slay it and even leave us all awestruck.

Just like in the March 13 episode of the Primetime series she currently headlines in which she takes on the badass titular character named Rhian Bonifacio – The General’s Daughter. She got our eyes glued on the screen, pushed us on the edge of our seats, and bated our breaths as she put herself in another perilous stunt again by fixing herself beneath a truck in order to successfully sneak in the military camp and carry out her secret mission.

In pursuit of proving her loyalty to and earning the love of her domineering adoptive dad Santiago “Heneral Tiago” Guerrero (Tirso Cruz III), avid viewers of the series definitely knows how obedient Rhian is to him. This is to the point that she would heed to everything that he would command no matter how risky and injurious it’s going to be. Although killing someone isn’t part of their plans, her dad’s guilt-tripping pushed her to do so to the arrested notorious terrorist David Pascal (Ruben Maria Sorquez) who they fear is going to speak up about Tiago and his organization that will eventually send her dad in jail.

Prior to the airing of the heart-pounding episode last evening, Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the production unit that handles the program, posted a video and a set of photos on Instagram to give us a glimpse of what happened behind-the-scene while filming that death-defying act. In this clip, we can see that Angel didn’t have a stunt double in doing it, yet not a glint of fear is evident in her as she was able to enthusiastically reply “Okay, Direk, keri!” to the director and even mustered smiling behind her facemask upon realizing that her retort seemed unthinkable.

Are we going to see more intense and nail-biting scenes like this in the coming days? We’ll, we better not miss an episode of The General’s Daughter, weeknights after FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
