From relentlessly haunting us every night with the thrills and twists they bring, the cast of the well-loved and highly talked about primetime series The Killer Bride continued to stupefy us with their mesmerizing appearances on the red carpet of the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 in their modern Filipiniana ensembles.
Staying true to the fierceness of her character, The Killer Bride herself Maja Salvador indeed slayed in her floor-sweeping asymmetric white gown, which her escort, boyfriend Rambo Nunez, gladly helped her fix as she posed for her solo shots.
We couldn’t help but be bewitched by lead actress Janella Salvador who pierced us with her killer glares as she strutted on the red carpet not in a casual off-shoulder dress that Emma usually wears, but in a chic and cleavage-baring voluminous cream ball gown that made her appear utterly sophisticated.
Leading men Geoff Eigenmann and Joshua Garcia surely made everyone swoon as they both looked dapper in their respective all-black ensembles, with the former opting for a suit with floral embroideries while the latter for a classic Barong Tagalog.
Alexa Ilacad indeed took the motif seriously as her elegant outfit was apparently a fusion of Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana dress.
On the other hand, Miko Raval came in a classic Barong Tagalog, while James Blanco wore a camisa de chino made of abaca.
Beauty queens Ariella Arida and Precious Lara Quigaman exuded their queenly allures as well through their chosen dresses. Far from her feisty aura as Tatiana, Ariella was demure in her immaculately white sweetheart Filipiniana frock that she accentuated with a white belt. Meanwhile, the endearing Lara showed us her fierce side by showing some skin in her black dress with plunging neckline.
While Pamu Pamorada veered away from her colorful character as she looked dainty in her aquamarine crimped ball gown, Pepe Herrera stuck by his playful nature as he didn’t mind striking weird poses while in his barong. Eric Nicolas and Neil Coleta flaunted their suits as they walked the red carpet.
Meanwhile, the up-and-rising tandem of CK Kieron and Vivoree Esclito, or collectively known as KierVi, surely caught our attention with their overly eccentric and very modern interpretation of the theme.
