Every night, we see how the story of the feuding families, the Dela Cuestas and the Dela Torres, have destroyed many lives in the town of Las Espadas in The Killer Bride. The long-drawn hatred between the two families deeply affected the people in their town, especially the members of each family. Years of rivalry and hostility against each other tormented them one by one. With this, our eyes were opened to what grave consequences a person could suffer from if we don’t choose to let love and peace rule over our hearts, so we could cultivate healthy relationships.

Therefore, the 2019 ABS-CBN Christmas station ID focused on love and family to remind us of its importance. Titled “Family is Forever”, this year’s Christmas station ID is a medley of the Kapamilya network’s memorable songs including “Thank You for the Love”, “Just Love Ngayong Pasko”, “Family is Love” and the iconic “Bro, Ikaw Ang Star ng Pasko”, which was released in 2009 after the catastrophic Typhoon Ondoy. With all those songs combined, this year’s station ID gives us the message of hope, unity, love and gratitude, which we all learn first in our homes with our God-given families.

In this gallery, we can see the main cast of The Killer Bride taking a break from their vengeful characters in the show. Maja Salvador, Geoff Eigenmann and Joshua Garcia wore themed shirts as they sang the song “Family is Forever” and celebrated the spirit of Christmas.

Maja, Geoff and Joshua paid tribute to the Estero de Paco volunteers who were featured in the 2014 “Thank You, Ang Babait Ninyo” Christmas station ID. These river warriors contributed to the rehabilitation of Estero de Paco, which is one of the 47 natural tributaries of the Pasig River. Their clean-up operations after the Typhoon Ondoy brought drastic change to their community, having very low chances of flooding in the present compared to how it was before.
