From entertaining us six days a week as part of the gregarious ensemble of It’s Showtime, Vhong Navarro is set to spread more good vibes every weekend to the Kapamilya viewers as one of the hosts of the upcoming 2-in-1 reality talent search Your Moment.

But before we get to see him in his newest hosting gig, let’s take a look back on the past programs wherein he used showcase his promising skills as a presenter in this feature.

We are all aware of how an exceptional dancer, a brilliant comedian, and a versatile thespian he is throughout his three-decade career in the local entertainment scene. He started off as a member of the all-male dance ionic dance group Streetboys and later on ventured in acting when he made his debut via the 90’sclassic sitcom Home Along Da Riles.

Vhong’s first hosting stint was via ABS-CBN’s long-running Sunday variety show ASAP, wherein he used to be one of its talented mainstays from 1996 to 2013. He even became a part of its in-house boyband called “Kanto Boys,” along with Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, and John Lloyd Cruz, that truly thrilled and amused us with their humor-filled production numbers.

From 2003 to 2007, he joined Toni Gonzaga, Archie Alemania, and Drew Arellano in delivering news satires as one of the “tadjocks” or news anchors of the comical news program Wazzup Wazzup, which was aired daily on Studio 23.

At the same time, he also scored the hosting stint for Pirated CD (Celebrity Disguises) in 2004, the reality-comedy show wherein he and the celebrity guests had to shed their superstar image and dress up like ordinary people and try living like them.

In that same year, the 42-year-old actor-host became part of the last incarnation of the iconic noontime program Magandang Tanghali Bayan billed MTB Ang Saya-Saya, as well as Philippines’ first live gag show Yes, Yes Show!

In 2006, he and his recurring onscreen partner and real-life best friend Toni Gonzaga teamed up as the main hosts of the Friday night variety show Gudtaym.

His biggest hosting gig came in 2009 when he was tapped to be one of the presenters of ABS-CBN’s longest-running noontime program It’s Showtime, which was initially slated as the morning talent search Showtime.

And beginning November 9, Vhong will make our weekend evenings extra entertaining as he’s about to host the newest talent search Your Moment alongside Luis Manzano.
