Two days after it was revealed that Julia Montes, Nadine Lustre, Zanjoe Marudo, Paulo Avelino, and Thai actor Denkhun Ngamnet are joining forces for the upcoming primetime series titled Burado, teaser photos of the cast were released by Dreamscape Entertainment, the ABS-CBN narrative unit that will be in-charge of its production, via its official Instagram page last Wednesday, February 12.

Just by simply looking at the images, it’s definitely easy to tell that it’s going to be action-packed with a dash of romance as well. In their group photo, we could spot Julia side-hugging Zanjoe while Nadine is standing near Denkhun, who was apparently sitting at the back of a pick-up truck. Paulo, on the other hand, is standing alone in line with Julia and Zanjoe and a little bit between Denkhun and Nadine.

In their solo shots, Paulo is seen seemingly in the middle of parkouring, Julia alighting in what seemed to be an ambulance, Zanjoe leaping over a barricade, Nadine riding a motorcycle, and Denkhun standing topless and wearing boxing gloves inside a boxing ring.

As of this writing, details of the story has not been released yet but the aforementioned group photo hints that the five lead characters are going to team-up to topple down a common threat.

Last Monday, February 10, Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo T. Endrinal posted on his IG account a photo of the whole ensemble taken during the story conference that was held that day. Joining the five main cast are Matet de Leon, Carmi Martin, Lotlot de Leon, Ina Raymundo, Joko Diaz, Raymond Bagatsing, McCoy de Leon, Kokoy de Santos, and Javi Benitez. Angel Aquino is reportedly going to be a part of it as well.

Directing it are Emmanuel Palo, who helmed The General’s Daughter, and Darnel Villaflor, who was behind the recently-concluded Kadenang Ginto.

In earlier write-ups, it was divulged that Burado, which is going to be slated for primetime release, will be shot not only here in the Philippines, but in several international locations as well, including Thailand, Cambodia, and India.

Are you excited as us to see Burado? Well, you better watch out for our updates because we’ll definitely keep you posted!
