Tina and Cocoy have lived their whole lives ruled by their illnesses. She is figuratively and literally surrounded by a bubble. He is completely lost when it comes to social interactions. It is only through therapy clinic that they eventually find each other; and discover how love and friendship could be the cure they need. “Ang tagal na nito,” Sharlene San Pedro mused. Turns out, they shot this movie way back in November and December of 2016. Nash Aguas added that it was their first project after Luv U ended. Now, fans finally have the chance to catch ”The Gift” as an iWant original movie. What other treats are instore for you? NashLene sat down to tell all about their 2019 plans and advice for themselves.


On top of Sharlene’s to-do list is see Hong Kong and then, “Manonood rin ako ng The Gift.” On the other hand, Nash has been meaning to go to Singapore to pursue his passion in film. “Hanapin ko sarili ko,” he joked. As for their college journeys, she is hoping to earn her degree in Psychology by next year and he is just trying to make the best of his overly expensive tuition fee. Aside from looking forward to the future, they boasted about past achievements too. Sharlene is already in her fourth year as a MYX VJ, “Nakakatuwa kasi tumanda ako doon.” And did you know that Nash bought a house in America?


If they had to sacrifice one thing for the sake of their friendship, Sharlene answered that it would be time. Being with your friend when they need you most. Meanwhile, Nash has one request from his friend, “Sana ngayong 2019 magsabi ka na.” Apparently, Sharlene can be too secretive sometimes. “Masaya naman ako lagi,” she assured him.
